Nominations are open to a school or community leader who has displayed a distinguished history of innovation and service to the local school community. In your nomination, please indicate how the nominee has demonstrated a commitment to equity, excellence, and service to the local school community over the course of their career. Please indicate any products or outcomes that could be attributed to the nominee’s dedication to student and school success.

The Ellis Walker Woods is an annual cash prize award of $1,000.

• February 22, 2024 — Inaugural Ellis Walker Woods Award Ceremony
• Spring 2024 — Nominations open – March 1, 2024
• Fall 2024 — Nominations close – October 31, 2024
• Winter 2024 — EWW Advisory Committee meets to discuss nominations
• January 2025 — 2025 Ellis Walker Woods Award Recipient announced
• February 2025 — 2025 Ellis Walker Woods Award Ceremony
