DeAnn Davis was born and raised in Oklahoma, and graduated from Maysville High School. She received a B.S. in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, an M.A. from Oklahoma City University, and Administrative Certification through the Danforth Principal Preparation Program at the University of Oklahoma.Davis’ career has spanned 34 years in four states: California, Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma. She has enjoyed 16 years as an elementary and middle school teacher, seven years as a supervisor of gifted programs, and 11 years as a principal.

Davis and her husband, Robert have been married 35 years and have three children and two grandchildren.
