Dr. Jennie M. Weiner is an associate professor of educational leadership at the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. She is affiliated with the Center for Education Policy Analysis and previously served as the co-director of the school’s EDD program. Jennie earned her Ed.D. in administration, planning, and social policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her scholarship focuses on issues of educational leadership and organizational change, including the impact of gender and racial discrimination in educational leadership. She has presented at national and international conferences with her work appearing in over 30 peer-reviewed journals. In 2017, Dr. Weiner was awarded an Emerging Scholar Award from the American Education Research Association’s (AERA) Educational Change (SIG), for which she is now a member of the leadership team and editor of their Lead the Change series.
