John A. Brock founded the Brock International Prize in Education in 2002. John is Chairman of the Board of Medallion Petroleum, INC. Over the years, John has been associated with several oil and gas discoveries, including the East Thomas, Alex, and Grand Fields in Oklahoma, the Hope Field in Texas, and the Arapaho Field in Colorado. He served as an artillery officer in Korean War, serves on several boards of directors, and is a member of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. Both John and his wife, Donnie, are active in multiple civic organizations and are patrons of the arts.
