Dr. Bill Daggett’s System of Effective Instruction and Rigor/Relevance Framework have served as a catalyst for school improvement efforts throughout America. Dr. Daggett’s message is to challenge assumptions about purpose, benefits, and effectiveness of current practices. Above all, his message is inspiring and challenges educational leaders to think and be courageous in making the necessary modifications required to meet the needs of all 21st century learners. Beyond the many books, textbooks, research reports, and journal articles he has authored, he is the founder and chairman of the International Center for Leadership in Education. Inspired by his work, thousands of school districts have embraced his concepts during their planning and implementation of systemic change for the enhancements of effective instruction, greater rigor, and relevance.
