Director of World Literature Today, The University of Oklahoma
Robert Con Davis-Undiano is Director of World Literature Today at the University of Oklahoma. He is dedicated to innovative, interdisciplinary teaching and is a mentor and role model to Chicano and other minority students and faculty. Joining the OU faculty in 1980, Davis was named executive director of OU’s international magazine World Literature Today and holder of the Neustadt Professorship in Comparative Literature in 1999. Publishing in Chicano and American studies and literary criticism and theory, he is author, co-author, or editor of 12 books, including a textbook now in its fourth edition, and over 60 articles. He served as Dean of the OU Honor’s College from 2005-2009 and is currently overseeing the development of a collaborative partnership between the University of Oklahoma and Beijing Normal University.
